WCC - Workbench Color Changer
by Carsten Orthbandt 1994
Version 3.0
NOTICE:
WCC is Freeware. You may copy it, but no one is allowed to charge more
than 5 DM (or equivalent) for it.
The author is not responsible for any damages caused by this program.
What is it ?
There is a problem with the Workbench palette. You can only change the
four first and last colors. If your Workbench has 16 or more colors,
they will be choosen by Workbench. But sometimes these settings are
a bit strange. It would be nice to control all colors. This is what
WCC does. You may set all colors at any desired value. Then you
save these settings. At next startup, these colors will be used.
How does it work ?
WCC should be placed in your WBStartup. When run, it sets Workbench colors
to the values given in ENV:wcc.prefs. It notifies all changes of the palette
preferences file in ENV:. If there it is changed, WCC opens a requester
for changing the palette. Since WCC is commodity, this requester will also
appear if You tell it to with Commodities Exchange.
Requirements
WCC needs OS 2.04 at least. It uses gadtools.library and
reqtools.library (© Nico François).
Bugs
No really serious bugs as far as I know.
